Sci-Quest is creating hands-on fun for spring break
Sci-Quest, Hands-on Science Center is now registering for Spring Break Camps, March 24-28. Sci-Quest offers learning and fun for children in kindergarten through fifth-grade during Spring Break in subjects such as cooking, forensics, flight, electricity and scratch programming.
Spring Break Camps include “Science: It’s What’s for Dinner” and “Get on the Bus” for children in kindergarten and first grade; “Science Sampler” and “Flights of Fancy” for children in second and third grade; and “CSI”, “Scratch Programming” and “It’s Electric” for children in fourth and fifth grade.
Morning camps are from 9 a.m. to noon and afternoon camps are from 1 to 4 p.m. As an added benefit for busy parents whose children are attending the camps, Sci-Quest offers early drop-off at 7:30 a.m. and late pick-up at 5:30 p.m.
Children in Spring Break Camps must be preregistered prior to the requested camp program. Class sizes are limited, and enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.
