Heart Walk organizers award event sponsors

The American Heart Association recently held its year-end awards breakfast honoring teams and sponsors who supported the 2013 Lincoln County Heart Walk.

The breakfast was sponsored and hosted by Fayetteville Public Utilities.

Receiving special thanks and recognition this year were presenting sponsors for this year’s Heart Walk event, including Goodman, Lincoln County Health System, First National Bank, Bank of Lincoln County, Fayetteville Public Utilities, G-Squared and The Exchange.

Elvaleen Trivett was honored as Top Walker of the 2013 Heart Walk. Goodman was awarded the Top Company based on walker dollars donated to the American Heart Association.

Special thanks goes to Joshua and Katherine Britton of Shoney’s Catering for donating the heart-healthy breakfast buffet for the gathering.
