The Humane Society of Lincoln County (HSLC) will be hosting one of the premier social events of the season, the Third Annual Wine, Cheese, and Chocolate Party, on Thursday, Feb. 27, at the Lincoln County Museum and Civic Center here in Fayetteville..
In keeping with the theme, “Living Local”, the HSLC is featuring products from local entrepreneurs — cheese, chocolate and some locally produced wines.
“Yes, there are some up and coming wines produced locally,” said Sharon Dunkin, a spokesperson for the group, adding, “so don’t miss this opportunity to hob nob with friends and sample some decadent foods and delightful wines.”
The event will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Feb. 27 at the Lincoln County Museum. Attendees will also have an opportunity to bid on a vast array of silent auction items.
Tickets are $25 per person and may be purchased at the shelter, Carter’s Drug Store, Bagley and Bagley Insurance, and Crawford Supply. All proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Lincoln County. For more information, call (931) 433-3726.
