MFM Financial Literacy Seminar Series continues at the Fayetteville First Seventh Day Adventist Church. Dr. Theodore Brown Sr., PhD, MBA, is the presenter. On Saturday, Dec. 7, Session V is titled “Who Will You Trust after You’re Gone?” Time is 3 p.m. SDA Church is located at 385 William D. Jones Boulevard, Fayetteville.

Annual Men’s Day program at Mary’s Chapel AME Church will be held Sunday, Dec. 8, 2 p.m. Guest speaker will be Ronnie Green, minister, from Huntsville, Ala. Special guest will be the Rev. Dezi Fletcher and Men from Fayetteville male choir. The church is located at 10 Wilson Road where The Rev. Ernest Latham is pastor. Chairperson for the program is Tony Hockett. Dinner will be served after the 11 a.m. service.

 

A Night Out with the Saints will be presented by Mary’s Chapel AME Church Saturday, Dec. 21, at 5 p.m. at the Fayetteville Recreation Center. The event will include entertainment, a fashion show, finger-food. Donations of $10 appreciation. Dress is semi-formal. The Rev. Ernest Latham is pastor, and Kathleen Bass is chairperson.

 

What Sweeter Music: A Festival of Carols will be presented in two presentations on Sunday, Dec. 22, at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. One performance will be given during the 11 a.m. service and another at 2 p.m. What Sweeter Music is a feast of 15 English, German and French carols, plus several new songs from the pen of one of this generation’s master composers, Mark Hayes.

 

John Long Noonday Bible Ministry is being held each Wednesday at 12 noon at St. Paul AME Church at 521 West College St. This Bible Study is open to everyone but especially to those who are unable to attend an evening Bible Study.  If you work at night, unable to drive at night, or if your church doesn’t hold Bible Study, etc., members invite you to join them each Wednesday as they study the Word of God.
