Crafters’ Christmas show this weekend
Elk Valley Crafters will host its 19th Annual Christmas Show on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 9-10, at Lincoln County High School.
Saturday’s show will be held from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Admission to the show is free, with plenty of free parking. The trolley will make regular stops Saturday throughout the day so shoppers may leave their vehicles at the school and go to the Host of Christmas Past festivities on and around the square, also slated for this weekend.
Lincoln County exhibitors, as well as artisans and craftsmen from surrounding counties and out of state, will have their wares for sale. There will be over 140 booths filled with quality arts and crafts, including floral arrangements, painting, pottery, honey, woodworking, stain glass, quilts, machine embroidery, candles, wreaths, knitted and crocheted items, just to name a few. There is something for everyone, but there will be no “flea market” items.
The Civitan Club, along with other food and drink vendors, will be at the school.
EVCA is a non-profit organization, and the proceeds from booth fees, after operating costs, benefit local agencies in Lincoln County.
The EVCA is open to new members, and anyone who makes quality crafts is invited to join the group. They meet the third Monday of each month at 6 p.m. in the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce building, located at 208 South Elk Avenue.
