4-H Club news highlighted

4-HFayetteville and Lincoln County 4-H Clubs have submitted meeting reports for the month.

Askins School

The first meeting of Mrs. Benison’s fourth grade class at Ralph Askins was held on Oct. 21 at 8:15 a.m. We filled out enrollment forms and elected officers.

Those elected were president, Hannah Giffin; vice president, Meg O’Connor; secretary, Kimberly Mireles; activity leader, Bailey Vukovic; and reporter, Grant Gattis.

The next activity will be public speaking. The next meeting will be held on Nov. 13.

The first meeting of Mrs. Heather Bradley’s fourth grade class at Ralph Askins School was held on Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. We filled out enrollment forms and elected officers.

Those elected were president, Emma Young; vice president, Lauren Pettie; secretary, Jenna Dean; reporter, Andrew Dixon; and activity leader, Ana Escobar.

The next activity will be the public speaking competition. The next meeting will be held on Nov. 13.

Blanche School

The first meeting of Mrs. Nickie Tucker’s and Mrs. Terry Shannon’s fourth grade classes at Blanche School was held on Oct. 4 from 8:45 until 9:30 a.m. We filled out enrollment forms and elected officers.

Those elected were president, Hank Bayless; vice president, Abby Young; secretary, Kelby Fitch; activity leader, Victoria Grigsby; and reporter, Jay Hereford.

The next activity will be public speaking. The next meeting will be held Nov. 1.
