TWRA offers hunter ed course

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency announces its Hunter Education classroom course set for Oct. 11, 12 and 13 at the Fayetteville High School.

Classes will be held Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. for classroom instruction; Saturday, with classroom instruction resuming from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.; and on Sunday, at 1 p.m., when students will review, take a test and have qualifying field activity. Classes should be finished by 5 p.m.

Students must attend all sessions to be certified.

All students must pre-register on-line at http://www.register-ed.com/programs/tennessee. The classes are free.

The course is offered to anyone interested, regardless of age; however registrants must be nine years of age by Oct. 11, 2013. State and federal statutes require a social security number. Those who do not have a social security number may call (615) 731-6538 for assistance.

All students should bring a #2 pencil to classes.

There are absolutely no firearms allowed at this location.
