Reward offered for tips on burglary; see video of suspect
Lincoln County Area CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the individual who recently burglarized a Flintville convenience store.
Sgt. Tull Malone responded to Jeff’s Market on Monday, Sept. 2, following a report of an alarm and found that the store had been burglarized.
Investigators believe the burglary on Highway 64 East occurred about 3:30 to 4 a.m.
The subject stole an undisclosed amount in coins and had attempted to steal a laptop computer.
In addition to the theft of cash, the subject did about $1,000 worth of damage to the store while breaking in.
Upon reviewing the store video, Investigator Doug Boeringer and the store owner saw a slim, white male wearing blue Carhart jeans with ripped knees, a dark blue T-shirt, blue toboggan, black belt and brown work boots.

On the video, the man was captured entering through the roof, behind the register and leaving through the roof.
The individual left behind a hammer, flashlight and a mask. Fingerprints were lifted off the tools used by the suspect, and the mask he wore was sent to the TBI lab for DNA analysis.
