St. Andrew’s-Sewanee School is pleased to announce the addition of Eric Stewart as the school’s Assistant Director of Development. Stewart will coordinate the SAS Fund, the annual giving program that provides approximately 10% of the school’s budget.
Stewart has held various leadership roles in private, public, and community-based organizations and is an experienced fundraiser. He represented the 14th State Senatorial District in Tennessee between 2008 and 2012, serving on the Senate Environment and Conservation Committee, Commerce, Labor and Agriculture Committee, and Joint Fiscal Review Committee. He served as a Franklin County Commissioner from 2002 to 2006. Stewart was formerly an owner, agent, and marketing director for Stewart Insurance Agency in Winchester, Tenn. He is a graduate of MTSU.

St. Andrew’s-Sewanee School is a college preparatory day and boarding school serving 250 students in grades 6-12 and is located on a 550-acre campus adjacent to the University of the South.
