Lincoln County High School’s Falcon football team continues to prepare for the 2013 season.

LCHS hosted one passing scrimmage with six teams participating on Tuesday. On Friday, the Falcons traveled to Hazel Green, taking on 8 teams.

Tuesday, the Falcons went 4-1, defeating Spring Hill, 14-7; Huntsville High, 20-7; Marshall County, 17-7; and Buckhorn, 17-14; and losing to Hazel Green, 21-14.

Friday, LCHS went 6-2 at Hazel Green, defeating Grissom, 8-6; Russellville, 21-7; Pope John Paul II of Huntsville, 28-0; Sparkman, 20-16; Lee High School, 21-14; and Hazel Green, 27-14. Lincoln County was defeated by Columbia of Huntsville, 28-21, and Buckhorn, 14-0.

LCHS goes in full pads this week and opens the 2013 camp Monday through Saturday. On Thursday, Ravenwood comes to down for a scrimmage starting at 9 a.m. Friday, the Falcons host Riverdale, also starting at 9 a.m.
