The National Weather Service Huntsville, Ala., office reported that the storm occurred about 7:30 p.m.
“Most of the storm was on that end of the county,” Kathy Hovis, deputy director of Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency, said of the storm that hit the Elora area.
Flintville School Road near Elora Road and Redhouse Road seemed to be the hardest hit. Several large 100-year-old trees were blown down between Flintville School Road and Redhouse Road.
One resident reported damage to a shed, where the bottom edge was damaged and a wall was blown out.
