Lettuce Do Lunch will be hosted by the Fayetteville/Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce on Friday, June 28, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 101 Mulberry Avenue, Fayetteville. The all-you-can-eat salads, dessert and beverage are $10. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Camp Blount Bicentennial Celebration. A day of fun at the Elora Community Center is set for Saturday, June 29, from 12 noon until 5 p.m. There will be free games and activities for kids, including a bounce house, large slide, cornhole game, face painting and more. Hamburger plates will be sold at $6 each and hotdog plates for $5 each. Plates include a sandwich, chips, drink and ice cream. Proceeds will be used to make improvements at the Community Center.
Central High Class of 1963 will have its 50th reunion Saturday, June 29, at the Fayetteville/Lincoln County Museum and Civic Center with social at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $25 per person. For info, email email@example.com.

Southern Alliance Spray Neuter Clinic Open House is set for Sunday, July 7, from 2 until 6 p.m. The clinic is located at 2703 Huntsville Highway. Light refreshments will be served.
Tater & Melon Day will be held from 4-10 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, at the Boonshill Community Center, 22 Red Oak Road. The event will include a chicken dinner and music by Jacob Painter and his band, 4 Miles Gone, as well as Doug Stone. The cost is $8 for the meal only or $12 for the meal and show. Central High School Class of 1965 is having a “Birthday Bash” on Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Fayetteville/Lincoln County Museum. Tickets are $60 per couple or $30 single. Social is from 6 to 7 p.m., photos at 6:30 p.m., dinner from 7 to 8 p.m., and Four on the Floor will perform from 8 to 11 p.m. All members of the Class of ’65 are invited.
Central High School Class of 1978 will be holding its class reunion on Saturday, Aug. 3, at Dragonfly Gallery & Design, 125 Main Avenue South, from 7 until 10 p.m. The cost is $10 per person in advance or $15 per person at the door. Weekly Saturday night dances are held at the American Legion Post 42, 2007 Wilson Parkway, from 7-10 p.m. The dance is open to the public, and the facility is a nonsmoking building, though a smoking area is provided outside. Country Roads Band plays a mix of country, country rock and classic rock and roll music. The cover charge is $5 per person. The kitchen grill is open for the sale of sandwiches, fries and soft drinks. The American Legion is a nonprofit organization, and proceeds from the dances helps in the funding for the aide to the veterans of Lincoln County.
Lincoln County Senior Citizens Center’s Senior Dance is held each Tuesday from 1 until 4 p.m. Cover charge is $3 per person. A live band is on hand to provide music. Bring a dish to pass or just come and relax, listen to music, dance, eat and enjoy. The Senior Citizens Center is located at 908 West Washington Street, Fayetteville.

Senior citizens’ exercise classes are currently being held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. at the Fayetteville/Lincoln County Senior Citizens Center.
