A number of local businesses and individuals have pitched in as part of a project to enhance electrical service at Fayetteville’s Stone Bridge Memorial Park.
The effort made holding the 48th Annual Arts League Arts and Crafts Show at the park feasible and has also assisted other events held there.
“In order to have the show at the Stone Bridge Park, we had to enhance the electrical service at the park to be able to handle our needs,” said Mark Kelso, who spearheaded the project. “The Chamber has already taken advantage of the power for their Music in the Park summer concert series.
“This project cost in excess of $5,000, and we could have not pulled it off without the wonderful assistance from all of our fellow co-sponsors,” he said, recognizing a number of businesses, individuals and organizations.
Platinum sponsors of the effort included Elk Valley Crafters, Fayetteville Main Street, Ruby Pitts, and anonymous donors.
Gold sponsors were the Fayetteville Lions Club, Edward Jones/Jeanine M. Horvath, AAMS, Woody Anderson Ford, Fayetteville-Lincoln County Arts Center, Gardner’s Choice, Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home, and Redstone Federal Credit Union.
