A barbecue fundraiser will be held by the men of St. Paul AME Church on Saturday, May 25, at 10 a.m. at the church, 521 College Street West in Fayetteville. Purchase chicken dinners for $10, rib plates for $10 or pulled pork dinners for $8. Proceeds benefit the church’s building fund and fellowship hall. St. Paul AME Church will host a Gospel Concert will be held Sunday, May 26, beginning at 4 p.m. and featuring Booker Ridge #2 Choir and Praise Team as well as Wanda Tate and men of Fayetteville. The church is at 521 West College Street, Fayetteville.
Bledsoe (Po-Grab) Church of Christ will hold a Gospel Meeting May 26-29 with Ralph Wayne Hart as the speaker and Charles Gatlin as the song leader. Sunday services are at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Lunch served at noon. Evening services are at 7 p.m.
Coldwater United Methodist Church’s Cajun Chicken Supper is Saturday, June 1, from 4 until 7 p.m. The adult meal consists of one-half Cajun chicken, baked beans, slaw, roll, drink and choice of homemade dessert. A child’s meal has chicken leg and thigh, baked beans, chips, roll, drink and dessert. Ticket prices are $8 for adult, $4 for children. Although advance tickets are not required, it is recommended that they be purchased prior to June 1. There will be a limited number of tickets sold at the door. McBurg United Methodist Church’s ham breakfast fundraiser is set for Saturday, June 1, from 6 until 9 a.m. Funds raised will be used to pay for the addition of the fellowship hall. Pastor Dr. Mark Brown and the McBurg congregation invite all friends and neighbors to come enjoy a great breakfast and a wonderful time of fellowship. Breakfast, at a cost of $7 per plate, will consist of country ham, eggs, fried potatoes, sliced tomatoes, biscuits, gravy and drinks. You may eat in or carry out. McBurg Untied Methodist Church has its worship service each Sunday at 10 a.m. led by Dr. Brown, followed by fellowship and Sunday School. Visitors are welcome. Kelso Cemetery will hold its annual Decoration Day on Sunday, June 2, at the cemetery, and those interested are asked to attend. If you cannot attend, you may send your donations for the upkeep of the cemetery to Kelso Cemetery, P.O. Box 125, Kelso, TN 37348.

Coldwater United Methodist Church invites all children to step right up at “Everywhere Fun Fair: Where God’s World Comes Together” Vacation Bible School. Explore and experience God’s welcoming love. The VBS begins Monday, June 3, and continues through Friday, June 7, with services 6-8:30 p.m. each evening. The adventure includes interactive Bible fun and great music, super science, cool crafts, hands-on mission work, global games, and more.
