Phi Theta Kappa supports animal shelter
Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society of the Motlow Fayetteville Center donates much-needed items and money to the Fayetteville Animal Shelter. Phi Kappa Theta is a two-year honor society comprised of students who do a variety of community service projects promoting the college while maintaining academic excellence. “Lincoln County should be proud of these bright young students that recognize the importance of giving back to their community,” said Kim Emami-Davis, rescue coordinator for the shelter. “Not only were donations made by the students, a very lucky dog was adopted in the process!” Pictured are (front, from left) Candace Barnes, Kimberlynn Young, Tori Swinford, Ashley Warren, Trevor Sumners, (back) Kasi Letson, Michaela Fulkerson, Dr. Michael O.
