RCA LogoFollowing a registration period for returning students and their siblings, RCA has opened preschool thru 12th grade enrollment to the public.

“It appears that some grades may be filled by returning students; however, we will open other classes per grade if the new student enrollment numbers support an additional class,” said Krysa Spears, the school’s director of Student Affairs.

“In addition to our 5-day preschool/junior kindergarten program, we are looking at reinstating our 2- and 3-day classes if there is enough interest,” said Spears.

“The program was cut several years back due to space limitations before the building’s upstairs was completed.  We have had some inquiries about a part-time program and are looking into the feasibility and interest level.  Parents should contact the school at 438-4722 as soon as possible if they are interested.”

The school’s motto is “Enriching the whole child … mind, body and soul”.  RCA is dual accredited by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and National Christian School Association (NCSA).  The school offers challenging academics on all grade levels, in addition to a daily chapel and Bible lessons.  Administering the Stanford Achievement Test and Otis Lennon each spring to elementary and middle school students, RCA consistently scores above 70 percent of the students testing nationally.

Middle and high school students have the opportunity to compete in a full range of athletics and other extra-curricular activities. And, juniors and seniors may choose to participate in the dual credit classes offered through Motlow Community College.

This year’s seniors will be the sixth class to graduate from RCA since its opening in 2001.  The high school is considered a college prep program with the majority of the graduates continuing their educations beyond high school.  RCA graduates have been the recipients of over $1.5 million in scholarship awards, many of which were based on above average ACT scores.

Anyone interested in touring the school can drop by during school hours, or call 438-4722 to set up an appointment.
