The Lincoln County Trap Team, in new distinctive uniforms, along with coaches, pose for a team photo at the Elora Clay Target Range. The Elora shooting range is the home practice field for the team which practices every Sunday afternoon. The team is currently preparing for the state competition in June and then the national championship in Illinois in August. The team competes an average of two tournaments per month. Shooters can be as young as nine-years-old all the way through college years to be on the county team. For more information on joining the team, please contact Mark Horton at (931) 607-7318. The Lincoln County Trap Team competed in an Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA) tournament at the Big Springs Clay Targets complex on April 6. For individual awards, Evan Buck took second runner-up for the C-Class division.
