Volunteer service recognized

Volunteer Service RecognizedLincoln County Mayor Peggy Bevels, along with other mayors across the country, participated in a national day of recognition of April 9 to highlight the impact of national service in their cities and to thank individuals who serve with the South Central Human Resource Agency’s Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) and the Foster Grandparent Program in Lincoln County.

Mayor Bevels issued a proclamation on April 9 recognizing the importance of these programs in tackling tough problems and strengthening our community through volunteering.
