‘Pride & Prejudice’ opens April 25th

Carriage House Players’ production of Jane Austen’s romantic comedy Pride & Prejudice opens April 25 at the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Museum and Civic Center.

This is the 200th anniversary of the publication of Jane Austen’s classic novel that many agree is the “gold standard” of love stories. The production marks the directing debut of Truman J. Carroll. Assistant director is Andrea Delap and the producer Sonia Bradford. Production assistant is Haley Fitch with choreography of English Country style dance, by Jennifer Carroll.

Also staring in Pride and Prejudice are Jim Philips, Valeri Buck, Mahalie Todd, Tori Buck, Miriam Sparks, Erin Young, Allie Ruhlander, Brendan Buxton, Laura Spears, Heath Jacks, Jordan Stair, Angela Steelman, Erin Alcorn, David Grant, Robin Mitchell, Haley Hicks, Briana Kimbrough, Lonnie Ables, Tina Beddingfield, Deborah Chaplin, Andrew Neal, Calvin Alcorn, Kate Parkes, Victoria Chaplin, and Sherie Jacks.

Performance dates are April 25, 26, 27 and May 2, 3, 4, at 7 p.m. with one Sunday matinee on April 28 at 2 p.m. at the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Museum and Civic Center. A traditional English tea will be served during the performance.
