Hillary Bevels and Pete Huttlinger were among the musicians performing in a recent international concert on Motlow College’s Moore County campus. Bevels, who is a fiddler, dancer, Lincoln Countian and Motlow College graduate, studied music in Peru and Brazil and is the concertmaster for the Tennessee Fiddle Orchestra. Huttlinger has been called one of the most inspiring acoustic guitar players in the world and is a national fingerstyle guitar champion. He recorded on television with John Denver from 1994 until Denver’s death in 1997 and performs across the U.S. and in Europe. Jim and Inge Wood, founders of the Tennessee Fiddle Orchestra, and Nate Strasser, a piano virtuoso, also performed during the concert.
