Officials are set to tour the new Hampton Inn Friday morning, according to discussion in Thursday’s work session of the Fayetteville/Lincoln County Industrial Development Board.
IDB began accepting applications last week for the hotel, including the front desk clerk, breakfast clerk, maintenance, and housekeeping positions. IDB, which is open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. each weekday, is located in the Sundquist Center on the Motlow College Fayetteville Center campus. Ultimately, the hotel is expected to create between 100 and 200 jobs, including part-time positions.
The Hampton Inn’s general manager should be on board by the end of the month and will begin reviewing applications and scheduling interviews.
