Fayetteville-Lincoln County Library volunteers stand next to a display of valentine hearts made by Trina Quick’s first grade class at Ralph Askins School to decorate the library. The students glued red, pink or white construction paper to doily hearts and wrote their names on each one.
The hearts are displayed hanging by threads from branches that have been spray-painted white and placed in a tall vase.
