Kim had surgery in September 2012 for Crohn’s Disease. Shortly after being released, she had to be rushed back to the hospital for emergency surgery when her intestines ruptured. Doctors then discovered Kim had a blood clot in each lung and one in her leg. She was on a ventilator and in ICU for countless days and developed pneumonia and infection around her spleen. In all, she spent 67 days in the hospital, countless doctors’ visits, multiple hospital stays and over $200,000 in medical and hospital bills.
After lots of prayer and support from her family and church, she is back on the road to recovery.
Please join in helping a Christian wife and mother of eight get back on her feet by supporting the benefit.
