Saturday morning’s snowfall may have been too much of a match for these beautiful daffodils that had enjoyed the sun’s gaze early last week. The flowers had bloomed when temperatures reached to near 70 degrees just before a cold front moved in, dropping temps into the teens and 20’s. The flowers were growing in the yard of Keith and Jennifer Davis on Fourth Avenue in Fayetteville.
