Ice Casualty

An evergreen along Blanche Road in southwestern Lincoln County succumbs to the weight of ice early Tuesday morning. Crews with the Lincoln County Highway Department were on the scene, clearing the road. Much of the western and northern part of the county glistened as the result of freezing late Monday evening and early Tuesday, scattering damage across the area.
