RCA’s XC team claims MTAC wins

Riverside Christian Academy’s cross-country team more than doubled in size this year, boasting a record 24 members and competing at a very high level within its conference.

The cross-country team ran in five Middle Tennessee Athletic Conference (MTAC) meets at Currey Ingram Academy in Brentwood.

RCA’s high school girls placed second as a team in their division at the MTAC championship meet, and the middle school boys placed fourth in their division at the championship meet. Both teams brought home trophies.

Mary Grace Hamilton won the high school girls’ individual championship and was selected for the first all conference team and named MTAC Runner of the Year. Hunter Higgins and Sean Rascoe both earned spots on the middle school boys’ first all conference team, and Jordan Dempsey was selected for the middle school girls’ second all conference team.
