County schools meet on Internet safety, cyber bullying
The Lincoln County Board of Education will hold an informational meeting Monday, Jan. 7, on the system’s current Internet acceptable use policy and cyber bullying.
The meeting will get underway at 5:30 p.m. at Stone Bridge Academy, 1107 Hedgemont Avenue in Fayetteville.
“We want to make sure that all students and families have information related to Internet safety and cyber bullying,” said Dr. Terry Sue Fanning, supervisor of instruction for the county school system, explaining that no new policies have been adopted and that the informational meeting will simply review policies currently in place.
