Joe Jackson, who spent the past six months hiking the 2,184-mile Appalachian Trail, talks with members of the Rotary Club of Fayetteville about his adventures during a recent lunch meeting of the club. The longest continuously marked footpath in the world, the trial spans 14 states. Jackson retired earlier this year from the Tennessee Electric Cooperative.
