Providing the best possible constituent services is a top priority, according to Representative Scott DesJarlais, and to assist in that effort, the congressman has set up three district offices located in Columbia, Crossville and Winchester.
Additionally, DesJarlais has announced local office hours in cities and towns across Tennessee’s Fourth Congressional District. Staff will be on hand to provide Fourth District residents with a variety of constituent services, including help in dealing with federal programs and agencies.
Staff will be holding office hours at the Lincoln County Courthouse basement conference room on Monday, Dec. 10, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon.
A partial list of issues with which staff can assist are Social Security, disability, Medicaid and Medicare benefit problems, worker’s compensation claims, problems with federal unemployment payments; VA claims and military service problems; SBA loan applications; FMHA, FHA and VA home loan application problems; disaster assistance, regulation compliance; federal grant application problems and IRS tax problems.
