Lincoln County High School (2-1) had little problem defeating Moore County. on the road Tuesday night.
LCHS finished op top, 70-44.
The Raiders came into the match-up with a 47-30 win over Summertown and 66-53 loss to Richland.
The Falcons’ size and speed dominated the Raiders. Lincoln County picked up 15 points from the arch coming from Jaquez Thompson (1), Tradarius Christian (1), Tyler Jones (1) and Austin Grimes (2).
LCHS was up 12-5 at the end of one and 31-12 by the break. The Falcons won the second half, 49-32, for the win.
Lincoln County picked up 16 points on turnovers and 16 second-chance points. The Falcons dominated the boards, 48-31. Jaquez Thompson and Justin Blackwell finished with 8 each.
Everyone got playing time as Coach Chad Tipps began playing into his bench early. Ten Falcons put points on the board. Blackwell led with 15; B.J. Thompson had 12; Tradarius Christian, 11; Riley Malone, 8; Austin Grimes, 6; Jaquez Thompson, 5; Ty Lewter, 4; Tyler Jones, Cameron Boyd and Trevor Jean had 3.
Lincoln County was 24-44 in the paint and 5 of 14 from the arch. From the line, LCHS was 7 of 17.
LCHS has three games at home this week. Tuesday Hazel Green comes to town. Thursday it’s Coffee County, then Saturday the Falcons host Loretto. Game times are at 6 p.m.
