Students tour hatchery

Students Tour HatcheryMotlow College students watch trout in the raceway at the Flintville Hatchery in Lincoln County. They toured the hatchery in conjunction with their environmental science class (Biology 1330), taught by Grady Wells on Motlow’s Moore County campus. Students are (from left) Robert McConnell, Garry McKinnon and Tia Stein. Wells said the course introduces students to the principles and techniques of environmental science and covers such topics as ecology, energy resource management, pollution and sustainability. The Flintville Hatchery is operated by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.
