On Sunday evenings in December, you are invited to join the United Methodist Churches of Lincoln County as they embark on an important journey.

“Together, we will travel from Nazareth to Bethlehem in a fascinating look at the birth of Jesus Christ,” said Tommy Ward, lead pastor of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. “Using historical information, archaeological findings, and personal reflections, participants will follow the footsteps of Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, and others, gaining insight into our own journeys with Christ.”

This four-week study will be take place at Elk River Coffee Company beginning Sunday, Dec. 2 at 5 p.m. You are invited to join the churches as they explore the significance of this most important event in history.

The study, published by Abingdon Press, was developed by Adam Hamilton, pastor of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas, and is intended for anyone who is interested in the Christian faith.

Elk River Coffee Company is located at 117 Main Avenue North in Fayetteville. For more information, contact Ward at (931) 433-2251 or fumc@fpunet.com.
